To truly reflect the theme and mission of the journal, the journal has been renamed JITCAR starting the year 2005 – meaning Journal of IT Case and Application Research. Please continue to submit high quality manuscripts for publication consideration in JITCAR. It is my pleasure to announce that Dr. Kailash Joshi, Professor of MIS at University of Missouri has joined the JITCAR team as Senior Associate Editor. Dr. Steven Gordon of Babson College has also been serving as a Senior AE for the last 2 years.

Mission

In this era of uncontrollable explosion of information technology (IT) and its applications, the gap between theory and practice, frameworks and applications keeps widening. This novel journal will focus on cases and applications that explain existing theories and concepts or that help in building new theories and frameworks. This journal should be of great value to professors and students as well as researchers and practitioners of IT. It is a double blind refereed international quarterly journal that is supported by IT scholars from all over the world. Finally, the journal is international in all respects: content, authors, readers, reviewers, and editors.
