Ultimately, this is what writing is all about. There's something
tragic about having perceptive thoughts and innovative ideas go unnoticed
because the creative mind could not express itself clearly.
1. I expect all papers to be word-processed or typewritten. We're
in the twenty-first century, after all. If you don't own a computer, you'll
want to get acquainted with the computer labs at Schwartz Library and Hillwood
Commons. Or use your roommate's/friend's/sibling's computer.
2. Papers must be double-spaced, with 1" margins all around and font
size comparable to the one used in this sentence (Times New Roman 12).
If the assignment is to write a four-page paper, do not tweak the
formatting in an attempt to squeeze six pages of text (or stretch two pages)
into four printed pages. Each page of text should have 250-300 words. Title
pages and bibliographies do not count as pages of text.
