Dr. Jalajas lives in Rocky Point, NY with his wife, Claudine, and their three children. He has been teaching at C.W. Post since 1994 in the management department. For fun, Dr. Jalajas runs marathons and, in 2002, he completed an Ironman triathon.
Research :
Dr. Jalajas's reseach focuses on innovation, downsizing, and ethics.
Teaching:
Dr. Jalajas's has tought courses in Organizational Behavior, Leadership, Strategic Human Resource Management, Operations Managent, and Business and Society, in the MBA program. At the undergraduate level, Dr. Jalajas has taught Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and a course in introduction to computers.

Dr. Jalajas is currently chair of the College of Management's undergraduate curriculum committee, and is the team leader for Camp Business, a joint summer program with Commerce Bank for top high school students.
