The connection between mathematics and art goes back thousands of years. Pattern, symmetry, proportions and transformations are fundamental concepts common to both disciplines. This page will contain experiments that explore these connections with interactive applets and Flash programs. There are also links to other sites that explore the connections between Mathematics and Art.

The year 2005 has been declared the Year of Math and Art at the University of Colorado at Boulder. There will be an Art and Math Conference at the University in BoulderJune 2-5, 2005.
